  • There must be balance  between ( Yin - feminine , Yang - masculine) 
  • Must live in harmony with one another and the cosmos . 
  • People can gain peace and happiness by becoming one with their Dao or " path " . 
  • Rulers should take less action and focus and support others who achieve what they desire ( WuWei ) .

  • Daoism wants to see both men and women in balance and harmony (Yin and Yang ) but Yin means weakness in women and yang means warm and strong in men , so Daoism still believes that men have a higher authority then women have .
