Ön düzen açılarının önemi araç için çok önemlidir, çünkü; sürüş performansı, sürüş konforu, direksiyon kararlılığı, yol tutuşu ve viraj alma kabiliyeti bu açılara bağlıdır.Araçlar üretilirken  bu açılar  bir veya iki açı haricinde sabittir ve değiştirilemez şekilde imal edilir. Ön düzen geometrisi eğitimi alacak olan kişilerin, bir aracın ön düzen geometrisini oluşturan açıların her birini ayrı ayrı değiştirerek bu değişimin araç üzerindeki etkisini daha iyi anlamalarını sağlaması amaçlanmıştır.
