         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong> Question 18 (5 marks) </strong><br>Arguments are occurring backstage during the technical rehearsal of a school musical because different members of the crew have been given conflicting instructions by different people. Describe the strategies that the crew can use to manage this situation effectively.                      <strong>5<br></strong><strong><em>To resolve a conflict between the crew, strategies such as listening, agreeing, negotiating, mediation, escalating it to manager can be used depending on the situation. For example in the situation of a conflict at the backstage between the students in the crew at a school musical due to unclear instruction given, the first step of resolving this issues can be both parties stating the problem and issue while the other is actively listening and trying to work out an agreement of agree to a mutual term, if not, refer back to the person who gave out the instruction to check what needs to be performed and exactly what is needed to be done/ give new instruction again in a clearer manner. If this still does not solve the problem, refer the case can be escalated to a manager or a independent third party so both sides gets an fair result of resolving the problem.</em></strong></div>]]></description>

Furthermore, the SM should provide support for an improvement program and/or mentoring and/or additional training such as in time management and prioritisation for the worker. Also, the SM should establish whether the worker is behaving is such a way from feeling isolate or bullied by another worker, and if so, look to give support and remediate that conflict.
