• The figure says it all. Gears are the rotating part of the machine so it's functioning. From the figure, we can say that the Earth is the machine while gears are Earth's process. Earth's process is a natural phenomena and Earth itself needs it. But, also see the object in upper left of the figure and think about the purpose of it. Extraterrestrial is from the outside of the Earth or it's atmosphere. From the figure it is the object that falls into the gears, so we can conclude that it can interfer the Earth's process. Because of that there will be a high possibility of danger that can lead to a disaster. 

This is a water that temporary rise in sea level and will reaches the land so it's connected to geosphere and hydrosphere. The Earth's atmosphere will exert atmosphere pressure that will strong the rising of sea levels. Rising sea level's effects connect in biosphere because this disaster can take many lives and will destroy the biosphere.
