"Sleep no more! Macbeth does murder sleep!" - Macbeth Act 2 Scene 2 Line 43

The reason I chose this quote because while I was reading the different quotes to chose from, this quote was the one I personally found the most memorable. It was the quote that stuck out to me the most during the beginning of the play right before Macbeth's transformation from questionable, reluctant character, to a strict, and feeling less character.

1. A women murdered her boyfriend just because she had one of the worst birthdays of her life. The reason this relates to the quote is because, not just because it is about murder, it is about a something that can never be the same again, such as a birthday which could go wrong again, once you take a life, you can never get it back. (http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/woman-who-stabbed-boyfriend-right-9240534)
2. A young boy being charged with murder, even though he has a good life and nothing was wrong with him nor anything going on. Similar to Macbeth who did not need anymore power, but wanted it very badly. (http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/02/10/pennsylvania.young.murder.defendant/)
3. Sad a son wrote a letter to his deceased mother, but it relates to the quote because Macbeth is starting to feel slight emotion towards the fact he has just killed the king of Scotland.
Similar to the song "It's Over isn't it?"

I suddenly thought of the song "It's Over isn't it?" from Steven's Universe once I saw this quote. The song has the lyric "Who am I now in this world without her? Petty and dull with the nerve to doubt her. What does it matter? It's already done." which, in context of the cartoon, means that the love of the singer's life (Pearl) has died and she will not be coming back. She felt as if she had something to do with the fact of her leaving and she tells herself that she will never be the same, because everything has already been done, and it will never change.

This quote first appeared in my mind meant "that Macbeth has basically killed his chances of being somewhat normal and he will never be the same, as if a new person has been created in that moment." I still believe that this is what the quote stands for in the play. But as a whole, I see the quote is just telling the audience that this is what happens when something traumatic in your life happens and the person that you once were, is no more and has changed into who you have become.
