1.Qualitative is one which provides insights and understanding of the problem setting. It is an unstructured, exploratory research method that studies highly complex phenomena that are impossible to elucidate with the quantitative research. Although, it generates ideas or hypothesis for later quantitative research.

Quantitative research is a form of research that relies on the methods of natural sciences, which produces numerical data and hard facts. It aims at establishing cause and effect relationship between two variables by using mathematical, computational and statistical methods. The research is also known as empirical research as it can be accurately and precisely measured.

2.（1）Positivism is a philosophy that states that the only true knowledge is scientific knowledge. Positivism is at the heart of the foundations of academic sociology.
（2）Interpretivism is a theoretical position that proposes that the social sphere cannot be studied using the investigative methods used in the natural sciences, and that the investigation of the social sphere requires different epistemology. This anti-positivist epistemology is based on the belief that the concepts and languages used by researchers in their research shape their perceptions of the social world they are investigating and defining.

3.Research strategy:

provides the overall direction of the research including the process by which the research is conducted. It is a step by step plan of action that gives us a clear understanding of thoughts and efforts, enabling us to conduct research to produce results. Case study, survey, experiment, actual research, and theory are some examples.

This form of study may be utilised to come up with generalizable facts about a subject. Experiments, observations recorded as numbers, and surveys with closed-ended questions are all common quantitative procedures.

Qualitative research is written down. Interviews with open-ended inquiries, observations reported in words, and literature reviews that investigate concepts and theories are all common qualitative approaches.

2. Positivism is the name for the scientific study of the social world. Its goal is to formulate abstract and universal laws on the operative dynamics of the social universe. A law is a statement about relationships among forces in the universe. In positivism, laws are to be tested against collected data systematically. the principle that science including social sciences should be concerned only with observable entities that are known directly to experience

3. Quantitative data tells us how many, how much, or how often in calculations. Qualitative data can help us to understand why, how, or what happened behind certain behaviors.

2. positivism recommends using scientific methods to analyze human behavior and society whereas interpretivism recommends using non-scientific, qualitative methods to analyze human behavior.

3.
