However, I do not believe that I would hire you. There wasn't enough information given to fully describe why you should be hired. I do think that you have excellent social skills, but other than that, I am not sure what skills you have. Definitely try to explain why you are a right candidate for the job, instead of explaining that you think their work is awesome. Also, try to seem a bit more professional when talking to someone of the higher class such as a director or a member of the hiring team.

I am thinking that you need to "sell" yourself more and display why you should be given a job but I also do like some of its causality. I think however, that if it was more straightforward you could get more of an answer instead of trying to figure out if this place will ever hire you. This person is extremely confident and charismatic actually sounds really interested in both the company and the position.
