In the video "Eye to Eye" the ex-soldier Ishmael Beah speaks about the experience he went through while being a child soldier on drugs. This is because of the child soldiers constantly being exposed to the war. From raiding houses to killing and destroying families. Over time the children became desensitized from overexposure. The drugs played a part in this because of the adrenaline rush making it not hard to feel guilt for their actions.
