Here is a good step by step link.

I personally have worked with 50:50: ratio of sphagnum moss and buttermilk. I have had success experimenting with different surfaces & make is grow on different materials. TOP TIP is to do it on a North facing wall. In the first few weeks of painting your moss design, spray water on it daily to encourage growth :)

The notes are written in a conversational style of inquiry through which IMMA staff engage children in talking about artwork. The notes cover most of the curator’s key themes in selecting the artworks for this exhibition, and many of the principal ideas of the artists whose work has been exhibited. The notes are suggested starting points to create dialogue in the class about the children’s experience of the artworks and stimulate engagement with the ideas encountered in the galleries.
