There would be different rulers for each piece of land. but the king/ Main ruler, would be the most protected. also the Inca would have the biggest army. also they toke other other lands and they would ask if they would like to join there Inca's if they said no they would die or become a slave. Also the Main ruler was known as the emporium. Also The emperor or king of the Inca Empire was called the Sapa Inca, which means
"sole ruler". He was the most powerful person in the land and everyone else reported to the
Sapa Inca. Also His principal wife, the queen, was called the coya. also the tax collectors would bring more money then they were supposed to so they got more money. that's why they were mostly rich.

Jobs: Commoners were responsible for most of the labor in the Inca Empire. They also built
government buildings, roads, worked in the mines and served in the military. The ranks: Emperor, the nobles, The fights ( Soldiers of the Inca),  and commoners.

Cities: Cuzco Is where schools where and it was the the best city in the Inca because it was the most richest. And you would get more stuff living there. It also is in a beautiful location and would have been a nice getaway for the king.  Machu Picchu was built as the royal estate for the ninth Inca King, Pachacuti. The King would mostly live there.

People aren't sure why he built it, but there are many theories. One theory is that it was a place for the king to vacate. It is in a very comfortable spot. We may never know.
