Greater Freedom For Women

In Rome, the laws allowed women the right to own property, business, and gain political influences. I see an example of the Roman greater freedom for women in America today because women own shops, restaurants, stores, and more. This gives women freedom to become whatever they want.

System of Laws

The laws Romans made were written down and hung for everyone to see. They made a "code of justice" that applied to all people. For example, a person was innocent until proven guilty. I see an example of Roman laws because Romans created The Law of the Twelve Tables, which is now known as the Civil Law in the West. We also have many similar laws.

Republican Form of Government

Our government has three parts, the Executive, the Legislative, and the Judicial. The Executive is the president and over 5,000 workers. The Legislative is the Senate and the House of Representatives. The Judicial includes the Supreme Court and other courts. I see an example of Roman's form of government in America today because our government is almost exactly like the Romans. The Romans also have three parts the Legislative, Executive, and Judaical.
