The Zun zun is one of the endanjured species that is native to Cuba. One contributing factor to this is many people mistaking them for an insect and swatting them because they are so small. Also, Their habitat is being destroyed by urbanization.

Why it is in danger

The Almiqui is i danger because there is so few of them that it is hard for them to be caught and reproduce in captivity to keep the species going. Also, another factor is the human effect on its natural habitat. Humans are cutting down thousands of acres of lush forest for human captivity and it is putting this extremely interesting animal at the risk of extinction.
