I am a privileged person because I have 6 tablets for 24 studets and I share them with one colleague.

I think I´m a lucky teacher because it is unusual to have tablets in our schools in Spain.

Why I use tablets?

Due
to the characteristics of my students: with students with a lack of
attitude towards learning and without motivation is difficult to develop
traditional lessons and we are in a society where mobile devices are
around us, so school must integrate them in our practise to let our
students the chance to use them properly by giving them tools and
resources to get the academic aims and compentences .

It´s difficult to use tablets all the time because there is a lack of knowledge of how to use properly mobile devices and different skills but step by step we are getting some of our goals.

sometimes parents by using student´s account send me messages (when I
started to use it parents could send messages by using their accounts
but now it is not possible) although some of them have edmodo account to
follow their children´s progress.

It´s a great tool with many options.

The next step will be use quizzes or edmodo apps.

of learning. I try to create heterogeneous groups because all of them
can contribute to the tasks.

Up to now this way of workig works because one of the goal when working in groups is to integrate those students with low level.

This school year I have a group with many troubles to work together so this
is the reason I established the roles but every month I change them.

I´d refer they choose the role but it´s been a new experience for them

This school year it´s the first time I work with tablet. I started to use them in January.
The first step was to sign a contract about a proper use of tablets.
The second step was the creation of working teams with different roles.
There is a student in charge of the tablet. One student is in charge of Tweeting about the activity and there are two students in charge of assess the task by following a rubric.
This is the way I get to organise the tasks and up to now I keep them contributing and helping to get the goals.
There is something negative: the time needed to solve the tasks and the timing of the lessons. If I had more freedom to organise my schedule I could deal more activities, but these are things that we will reflect in our memories at the end of the school year.

offer those that develop different skills in students to let them to get
access to a variety of experiences.

I love AR because focuses on imagination and different skills are put into practice.

I wanted to know how they worked in small groups, despite they had never worked in groups according to chats with teachers they had had before.
After first term, I changed the organisation of the classroom and we started to work in small groups and some students improved their marks and discovered new friends.
