The exact date of the establishment of our school is not known and it was established in the form of small neighborhoods that were built by the local villagers. Over time, the neighborhoods were merged into the village status and the settlement was named ve Denizciler Village Zamanla. The settlement, which was established on June 6, 1987, was named as ”Denizciler Town arak.
Due to its close proximity to the industrial area of our school, there has been rapid urbanization and growth. Therefore, there has been an excessive housing in the settlement where our school is located. With intensive housing, the surrounding schools were insufficient to meet the growing student population. Due to the increasing population density, a need for a school was born in our settlement. The foundation of our school was laid with the outstanding efforts and efforts of Abdullah KINALI, the deputy of the time, and Mehmet YILMAZ, Mayor of Denizciler. Our school was completed in 1995-1996 academic year with 18 classrooms and three floors. Our school was named ile Mustafa Kemal ilk, the founder of our Republic and the name of our Great Leader. The first name was sistem Mustafa Kemal Primary School .1. Kemal Primary School ”has been. In 2012, due to the 4 + 4 + 4 education system, our school was taken back to primary school and its name was inden Denizciler Mustafa Kemal Primary School 2012. Our school Private Bornova Secondary School was founded in 1994. Now, we have a pre-school, a primary school, a secondary school, a science high school and a high school in our campus in the town of Bornova in İzmir, a beautiful city in the Agean Region of Turkey. In our campus we have laboratories, a big library, music and arts ateliers and a sports hall. Our classrooms are fully equipped with smartboards and educational technologies. Technology is very important for us. All our students have the opportunity to study with the latest technology in our school.

Our school was founded in 1833 by two patriot boyars: Iordache Otetelişanu and Constantin Lazaro. Its name was back then “The Lazaro- Otetelişanu Boarding School for girls” and it was the first high-level educational institution for girls in the Romanian Principalities.

The name of "Elena Cuza" was chosen in 1909 by the school’s principal- Smaranda Celarianu. Elena Cuza was Alexandru Ioan Cuza’s wife, the ruler who created the basis of the modern state through the unification of the Romanian Principalities. (January 24^th 1859).
