follow the sign-in information given to you (sign in name/password), and sign into the College's ClassApp, then, locate the Design Lab icon and click on it. This will lead you to the apps/screen that has installed all needed drafting software under the "Design Lab"

(for studnet volunteer: you can use your normal college lab computer sign in to sign into the ClassApp platform)

Find the ACAD icon on the desktop, and click on it, you can open the ACAD application. You now start a standard CAAD default drafting model Space.

(or, inside the ClassApp platform, double click on the Chrome icon and open the Google search bar, type in this workshop Padlet link, https://padlet.com/ylu65/centennial-college-arch-workshop-offline-v9mqsct8obfu8f8q, and find this Padlet.
And then,
download the sample .dwg file from the Workshop Padlet, Column "ACAD sample dwg".
Then, in your CalssApp computer folder, you will find the downloaded .dwg under the Download folder. Now, please double-click this .dwg file, and open the ACAD.

Volunteers may show workshop participants how we/our program use the ACAD/Layers,/etc.
Like, you can start to introduce what you did/designed, where the bedroom/living room is, etc,
then introduce which color is for which Layer, like, the pink exterior brick Layer;
then show them how to draw the Design Drawing (NOT CD!!!). Like, draw a living room with 4 walls (or choose a simple room to draw), and follow the dimensions you have from your design drawing.
If the workshop participants can draw faster/have good ACAD skills, then we can show them more complication skills...
