PebbleGo seemed like a very accessible and helpful site. Here are some highlights:
- readily available in English AND Spanish
- kid-friendly layout (big buttons, simple vocabulary, no small words, definitions with unfamiliar words and proper nouns, text reader, etc).
- accessibility functions (images to accompany words, text reader, videos, etc).
- academic games available
- citations available
- video experiments
- advanced categories

Downsides:
- Only available in two languages
- no text-to-speech
- only provides definitions for specific words, not all of the words

The voice typing on Google worked fairly well! I tested it out with some "big" words and a lot of pauses and it caught those and fixed them. Here are some highlights:
- Very accurate
- Recognizes spoken punctuation
- Recognizes spoken symbols like "happy face" and "sad face"
- Pause and unpause
- Text to speech button can be moved to anywhere on the document

Here are some downsides:
- The "new line" function did not seem to work for me.
- Does not recognize punctuation on it's own, it has to be spoken

I screenshotted the text in Google Translate and then used the Microsoft Translate App to translate it from German back to English.
Here are the highlights:
- the formatting of the document was kept once the words were translated
- proper nouns remained the same
- words in all caps remained the same
- really fast and easy
- the app uses images/icons instead of words so it's language friendly

Downsides:
- the original text sat under the new text, making it slightly harder to read it.
- some words didn't translate perfectly, such as "Microwft Translote app"
