I think that a great sound track for True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle during the storm that made the ship seem like a toy boat at the mercy of the unforgiving hurricane would be Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag Main Theme. I say this because it has a nice pirate theme music that lasts for about a minute while in the middle it strikes hard as a storm would. A text to world connection would be that there would actually be a hurricane as this music would be playing

This is a very fitting song for the end of a storm or to reach the eye of one as it sets the mood because its reliving as you see the shimmer of the sun as you enter the eye after the end of being tossed around by the forces of the harsh winds and water.

The song is very powerful and fierce, during the storm Charlotte cut off all of her hair, and it was like she finally fully transformed into one of the crew members. She was very fearless in that scene.

Durring the storm I would play 'the Dying swan' form the ballet, swan lake, or 'Rond de Jambe à Terre'. Or even Danse Macabre by 

Camille Saint-Saëns. 



The dying swan would symbolise her finding her true self, and cutting off, otr 'killing' her past self  for a new Charlote, whoch is represented in the ballet, when the white swan dies after being betrayed by her true love. 

Rond de Jambe à Terre had vebry hery notes, and  very elgant with a touch or rebellion. This would show that even in the strom when charlotte would be transofing into her true self and shedding her old uptight, and ladylike skin, she still cant 100% get rid of it. I will always be a part of her, whoch is represented in the musics with the very elegate and lday like dips and curves in the music, and with a touch of harshness in the keys I think it will eb the perfect fit. 

Camille Saint-Saëns's Danse Macabre would also veryu much fit the scean as there is many loud thunderus chrasses and ratleings of the instumanets. The song is suposed to show death, and the land of death coming back to life which would perfectly fit seeting as we get reintroduced to Zhacheria later in the chapeter, and like i said before, this song also a has a touch of elegance and inocents, showing that no matter how stng charlote is, and no matter how brave she might be she is still a child. 


ALso just adding this in here, and music from Camille Saint-Saëns works great but one that I will put below that really is cool for the scean is 'The carnival of the animals'. It has this really nice touch of childhood inocences but thoufghout the song it seems as if the music is fadding like charlotres childhood.

I would play this song beacuse it represents what happensa after the stomr, and no matter the effect of the storm and no matter what it washes away the memoire of it will never be forgotten, which it think perfectly shows what happended after the storm for Charlotte.
