After testing our device through 5 trials, we concluded that the average time for the ball when launched was 1.9 seconds; however, when the time came for the actual launching test, our ping pong ball was airborne for an average of 1.01 seconds. Our data was inconsistent because for the first three trials, the time airborne was about 1.4-1.8 seconds; however, for the last two trials, the ball was airborne for 2.3 seconds. This inconsistency occurred mainly because of the direction that the launcher was pulling the rubber band.

After our first attempt of testing our device who's purpose is to launch a ping pong ball into the air and stay airborne for as long as it can, we noticed that our device encountered several problems. First, we had a shortage of materials, so we had to compromise and try to use the materials very wisely, especially the tape because it held our device together. The second problem was that our device was not very stable; therefore, the launcher had to hold the device tightly onto the table, but the launchers hand interfered in the ping pongs ball's way. Our new goal was to build a more stable device. If we build a more stable device, then the launcher will not need to hold it tightly against the table, and nothing will get in the way of the ball from launching up. After our second attempt of testing our improved, and more stable device, the ball was able to launch upwards after several trials; however, we noticed that the main issue was the structure of the device. For example, since the device was more stable, the launcher didn't need to hold it tightly on the table, but the tube caused interference with the ball as it launched because it hit the walls of the cylinder. Overall, we decided that if we were to create a device with a bigger, more stable structure (that is not a cylinder) than nothing that is part of the device would interfere with the ball as it launches.

1. The more focused the objective was ( work on fixing fragility along with instability) the less problems we had with launching the ball since the first attempt alluded to the main conflict our team had with the Cylindrical model.

2. Our team conducted 5 trials all of which were not enough to make the " Holo Cylinder" reach its optimum. Since the best time was 2.1 seconds, we clearly needed more trials, but we ran out of time. Although we had fewer trials, it was our model that was the defect .

3. The device team 3 possessed produced the longest time of 1.8 (first trial), and what they did was slightly slant the device to the left before launching, pull the rubber band to its "max" -- bonus technique: keep the ball from coming off ( ball slot.)

4. Rebuild the whole model and change the structure to rely on sticks and straws more. The idea of using paper as a primary material went wrong (somewhat)
