Description: Perfekt irregular verbs
The biggest topic that we had in second semester was "Perfekt ".
Even though I understood the topic pretty well during the class, there were still some difficulties that I had with this topic. For instance irregular verbs that don't obey the basic rule of "Perfekt" (ge) in the beginning of the word + (t) at the end of the word like: gebleibt, gespielt. It was very hard for me to remember the irregular verbs like:"gegangen", "gegessen" , but the I have found few websites that helped a lot with remembering these irregular verbs and using them in sentences.The website that I found the best and advise to all the new learners is verbix.com

Description: German movies to improve my vocabulary
I find watching movies with german subtitles as one of the most effective ways to improve my vocabulary. So every week I watch at least two movies with the German subtitles on and even though most of the words are unfamiliar to me I still can understand some basic sentences and I usually write the translation of the words which I think can be used in a every day conversation very often. Listening to music is one of my favourite hobbies, so I have tried to getting the use of my hobby and I started listening to German songs while reading the lyrics, I find this method one of the most fun and amusing methods out of all.

Description: Subordinate and coordinate clauses
During the class I understood pretty well the difference between coordinate and subordinate clauses in German, but I tried expanding my knowledge about all the conjunctions that are used in coordinate and subordinate clauses, so I have found a pretty useful website, that had the complete guide of all the conjunctions that are used in those sentences.I have found a few pretty interesting conjunctions, that I have never heard or used before like: jedoch, allein, beziehungsweise. All the above enlisted conjunctions are used in coordinate sentences.

Description: Conversations in German
On my eastern break I have traveled to Frankfurt to see my friend who studies there in the university, even though I have spent only two days there I think it helped me tremendously to improve my language.
