<<All I'm asking is you open your mind, do the right thing>> And this part reminds me of the objective of the enlightnment which is to change the mind set, innovative ideas about liberty, sovernity, and equality for people in Latin American countries. <<No fight's ever easy
Oh we can win when we all start believing
We're stronger when we come together>> As in this new ideas they said "We can join forces and be stronger together" and that was the idea they started in early 17th. century and this idea was one of the inspirations for Haitian Revolution and the Mexican Revolution.

The song is based on breaking chains, and it is exactly what Haiti (Saint Domingue) did in Haitian Revolution <<I do whatever it takes, 'cause I love how it feels when I break the chains... 'cause I love the adrenaline in my veins>>
I think that's the song that describes their situation in the moment they got rid of French.

Leader #3 Father Miguel Hidalgo. Song: Soldier, Poet, King by The oh Hellos

As he's a Priest, this part of the song matches with what he did <<There will come a poet whose weapon is his word, he will slay you with his tongue>>, Father Miguel Hidalgo saved his community in Mexico as a Priest when he called "El grito de Dolores" to start the revolution. I also took the reference that he's a priest because this is kind of a christian song.
<<There will come a soldier who carries a mighty sword, he will tear your city down>> I took this part making reference about how he led a revolt to get rid of Spanish colonialism.

Leader #4 Manuela Saenz. Song: Roar by Katy Perry.

She was known for being a politician and fighting alongside Bolivar's rebel army to liberate Lima and Peru from Spanish colonialism.
In the part of this song when says <<You hear my voice, you hear that sound>> represents, for me, Manuela Saenz, because at this time when Manuela Saenz started doing this revolution there was a different point of view in relation with the female gender (sexism) and the fact that she could lead a revolution of a entire community lets us know that she really made her voice sound loud with innovative ideas to guide a whole people and fight for their freedom. <<Like a thunder, gonna shake the ground >> She was definitely a woman empowered and prepared to fight for the rights of her entire community.

A leader best known for coming from slavery and ended up being a leader for his community in Haiti (Saint Domingue) leading a successful revolt against France in 1792. I chose this song for this part <<A dreamer with the fever to be great was all I ever want Was all I ever wanted>> because these parts describe exactly what he did, he was born in slavery, but his mind set must have been so great to make a whole country free, because as the song says <<Won't stop till we're legend>> he didn't stop his purpose until he achieved his goal.
