  • Hello, I am a teacher at the Oscar Romerocollege in Dendermonde (Belgium). I teach all the time at our STEM department. The subjects I teach are electricity and automation. This year, I started my 27th year as a teacher. At our school, we have been working with a school in Lysekil (Sweden) for many years. Unfortunately, corona has prevented us from going on exchange with students in the last 3 years. Coordinating this is also one of my tasks. I currently use artificial intelligence (chatGTP) to help write courses, but I assume that this will find more and more application in industry and therefore also in the field of automation.

    I've been exploring eTwinning for the past few years and it triggers me to do more with it! 

    As a language teacher I'm aware that ChatGPT and AI in general makes things super easy for my students. It is definitely challenging but it makes new things possible and I love experimenting with it!

    Outside of the classroom, I usually spend a lot of time with my family and our dog, Volta.

    I'm looking forward to being in an international environment, meeting others and exploring new ways to engage my students.
