My first time in space was a good one don't get me wrong. Voskod 1 was launched on October 12, 1964, and it was successful, my first time in space was a sight to behold. Before we took off we could see everyone waving at us from below, my heart quickened seeing their hands waving to me and my comrades as we entered the Voskod. as We were launched I didn't feel a thing, through my training they tested G-force on me and my partners, as well as making sure that the inside was very well sealed. we couldn't see the flames outside nor feel the rumble that our spacecraft made. As soon as we were in the clear, we could see the earth below us, looking as though it was a massive extremely accurate map. We could see the cities and lights around the world. It was beautiful.

We were the first maned spaceship that could fit three people at once, and we were all bustling with excitement, we could hardly do any work! but had to eventually tear ourselves away from the spacecrafts portholes and continue our mission.

the rest is hard for me to recall, but we were up in space for a long while, each taking a turn to rest and document what we saw. But soon we were to return to earth and we landed right on schedule. It was very interesting going from weightlessness to sudden gravity, and this time we felt it all.
