         <description><![CDATA[<div>Experimented with as early as 1848 but exposures last hours or even days to acheive a very dim unstable image.<br>|n 1861 a durable image was produced by taking and projecting three images of different colours on top of each other.<br>1873 more colours were added to the range available.<br>Experimenting carried on, until 1935/6 when Kodachrome developed a system with the three colur emulsions on one film.<br>1936 was the intrduction of 35mm colour slides</div>]]></description>
