Too little fat affects hormone production, brain function, and skin health. Inadequate nucleic acid intake, though rare, may impact cell repair and growth. Deficiencies in vitamins and minerals can cause severe health conditions, such as scurvy from low vitamin C, weakened bones from calcium deficiency, and anemia from iron deficiency.
