Technically called vertical farming the concept is pretty simple First you need a tower, then you need stacked layers of plots for the plants, Then Install a piping/water system, finally make harvesting machines which is optional. Since the towers will be sealed from the outside environment you could make watermelons in the winter time from the modified climate from the inside of the building, so you could practically build the towers anywhere in the world even antarctica if it isn’t melted away at that time. Also these vertical farms Are very good for the environment as long as you use clean fuels. A giant tower full of green plants will clean the air like water running through a giant filter, but since photosynthesis has a 3-6% efficiency it would be better if machines did the work.

http://www.verticalfarms.com.au/advantages-vertical-farming

https://verticalharvest.wordpress.com/2010/09/15/vertical-farming-the-pros-and-cons/

In the Midwest there was always this Individual problem- Land. Since this area is where the most fertile and flat plains are there are many farms and plantations, but all of these removes land because of how inefficient this ancient method is. Putting seeds in dirt on a flat plain and spraying water on it is a waste of a lot of materials and space. Except there is a solution to this annoying problem Agricultural Towers! These towers take more height than width which takes up less land, materials, and fuels that are all used to their full potential. Without the need for transportation of the harvesting and planting machines, the control of where the water goes, and the quantity that can be built with the high amount of output from the towers would make a revolution in the way we make this world go round.

Out of all I believe the Pros outweigh those despised cons (pros and cons are what drives human decisions). Well as you can tell we should build these Vertical farms or Agricultural towers because they save materials, save energy, can work anywhere, and make more food overall. Well that was a TOWER of information wasn’t that it might have given you a VERTICAL mood right? Or unless you have a FARM of complaints well the information is in the links and if you care let this world go positive.

Another thing is that the energy and materials are used to there full potential do to high efficiency LED lighting technology, re harvesting of water for low water uses, and since the technology is so efficient you don't need to spend a lot of energy and materials recovering or fixing a problem, so I guess humanity wants to make as many things clean as possible (that’s a lie). However These buildings are not cheap at all, Aerofarm’s building costed an estimated $39 million which is not pocket money to the average american. Another thing is the energy needed to keep the climate as Indefectible and Unblemished as possible.
