I wanted to set them in a way which prompted questions and further analysis. To accomodate this, I made a frame which comes off from the wall at an angle showing the detail work of the chasing on the reverse. I also chose not to rivet in a geometric grid, but rather incorporate them into a sort of dispersed surface filled with both sapphire, and other materials. I'm interested in the idea of visually sifting through a surface to locate the primary material.
