- Meet people and get information from them about your destination: We recommend looking for contacts and meeting people who have studied abroad in your destination or near to there before.  It could be usefull for you in the future.

Exemple: Create an interview in English and use that to meet them.

PAELLA

Ingredients: 1tbsp olive oil, 1 onion, 1 tsp each hot smoked paprika and dried thyme, 300g rice, 3tbsp white wine, 400g chopped tomatoes, 400g seafood mix, lemon juice.

Method: Heat the oil and add the chopped onion for 5 minutes in a pan. Stir the paprika and rice for 1 minute, add this to the pan a splash of the wine. Cook uncovered for 15 minutes, stirring now and again until rice is almost tender and still has some liquid. Stir the seafood into the pan and simmer for 5 minutes. Squeeze the lemon juice over the dish. And that's all.

Hi Sam in the future, it's been a long time since you wrote this letter. I'm sure thtat you lived amazing experiences in China and you met a lot of new people and saw new places but, what are you feeling now? Now that it's time to come back home, are you going to miss China? Can you tell me the most special memories that you had on the road? I hope that you finally improved your Chinese language skills, because you where there for that reason (principally)... It's time to come back and deny all the western clichés avout China, what did you learn with the real contact and immersion into the Chinese culture? Was it useful or complementary with everything you learned in the UAB? What kind of intellectual or social skills are you going to take home with you after the exchage experience? Are you going to recommend this experience to anyone? What do you expect to find back home? Don't forget to say goodbye to the people you met in China and you loved the most, you'll probably remember them for the rest of your life, true? Stay strong and don't worry, a new period is starting for you in your country.

Wechat: Is the Chinese "whatsapp".  It has been called China's "app for everything" and a "super app" because of its wide range of functions and platforms.

Baidu: Is the Chinese "Google".  Baidu offers several services to locate information, products and services using Chinese-language search terms, such as, search by Chinese phonetics, advanced search, snapshots, spell checker, stock quotes, news, knows, postbar, images, video and space information, and weather, train and flight schedules and other local information.
