No i would not want to start my own business with this knowledge, along with my knowledge of the United States mixed-market Economy. This means that the US has the Government playing important roles along with privately owned businesses. For me, this means an increase in competition, and lack in freedom.

The 5 Principles associated into creating your own business....

- Economic Freedom: Even though you do get your freedom on what type of business you want, you do not get as much freedom due to the laws that are set for you to follow.

- Competition: Since the United States is a mix of both command and market economies, there is an increase in competition due to everyone wanting to make or gain money from making products that are caused by the "trend"/ what everyone wants. Every other business would make sure that they have better products or maybe even sell their products at a lower price to gain more consumers than their competitors.

- Private Property: Although you do get your own land or property, the Government still sets the rules. Your right to buy and sell the land is still based on the consent of the Government.

- Self Interest: This concept in my opinion is very similar to Competition. The consumers are the one that is in-charge of the success of the business. If a customer prefers someone else's product over yours, then your profit may go down, while the other business thrives.

- Contracts: This is when businesses are to make agreement to buy and sell any of their products. although you are allowed to do so, the government still sets its rules and regulations.

A Mixed-Market Economy is a system in which both Market and Command are combined, which means that there is freedom to an extent. In which the government plays a big role in. Examples are; Ensuring that businesses are fair with their prices. & Protecting consumer's rights.
