This weekend, I learned more details surrounding the story of Flight 93. The heroes on that flight sacrificed their lives to avoid the 4th plane crashing into its next destination (potentially the Capitol). The stories and audio captured from this flight is truly heartbreaking yet inspiring, showing how people selflessly acted to save the lives of others and for their country.

9/11 left a lot of things for us to learn from. I learned that when the first plane crashed into the tower, people thought it was an accident. When the second tower was also hit, people started to realize that it was on purpose and planes were being hijacked. The towers crumbled to the ground, toxic dust filled the city air and reached outside of the city as well. 9/11 is the day we honor those who lost their lives, who lost their families, who sacrificed themselves.
