    Employer applications should include a segment which details their onboarding/clearances needed to have students start their internship on time.
    Improve the vetting process of employers (doing more research on their organization, and which hub they belong to etc.)
    • Address the employer participation in multiple hubs. Providing clear internship roles and responsibilities for the respective hubs they’ll be participating in. 
    • Once employers are vetted and approved by the central office, the necessary accounts should be given at that period to ensure it is active and working
    Emphasize the protocols for incidents on the job (harassment, injury)

    • Do not accept waitlist students into program without consulting with the hub first
    • The onboarding process should start earlier in the program timeline to prevent delays in the anticipated start date for the internship.
    • International students should be considered priority to start their process ahead of the program timeline sooner to obtain their social security cards prior to the internship start date.
      • Familiarize all CUNY international students offices of CUNY Spring Forward and Career Launch to support students receiving the necessary documents to obtain their social security card.
