There is the character Ead who has sworn to protect the queen until there is a heir to the thrown. There is Niclays who is trying to create an Elixir of life while hiding a Traveler from afar. Another character named Arteloth has travelled from his beloved hometown to an infested plague-ridden country filled with the stench of wyverns in hopes of finding the King who has gone missing since the death of the last Queen. The final main character named Tané has just been announced as a sea general and she trains to become a dragon rider but there is one thing that stands in her way.

You might wonder, "what do all of these quite different characters have in common, and how will they all meet?" Well.....They all are preparing for the return of The Nameless one, a Giant red Wyvern who has been slowly reawakening due to the help of another dragon named Frydel and a mysterious Witch going by the name of Kalyba.

In the end this large book filled me with many emotions: sadness, joy, anticipation and yearning. This book was hard to put down and didn't actually take me too long to read.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a dark fantasy and a good story. I found the entire series of Chainsaw Man all within one website after a few minutes of researching good manga series to start reading, Chainsaw man is a chaotic story that follows a boy named Denji, Denji has no parents and is spending his days trying to pay off the debt that his parents owe to the Yakuza (a Japanese criminal organisation). Denji starts to pay off this debt by slaying devils with his very own devil named Pochita (the Chainsaw Devil). The entire series revolves around Denji slaying dangerous demons and trying to fit in with numerous unique characters that have pursued in the career of devil hunting. I could say so much more about this book (considering that I only explained to you the events of just volume 1) but I wouldn't want to ruin such a great read. The illustrations, storytelling and characters are done almost perfectly and the ending had many great twists that definitely made me think about the series for at least a whole week. I hope that we receive a sequel because 11 volumes did not seem like enough!

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a supernatural dark fantasy in manga. The story follows two boys named Mateo and Rufus, they discover from a company known as Death-Cast (the company lets you know 24 hours before your death) that they are both about to die. Both the boys meet up by downloading the app "Last Friend" which is an app that lets other people who are dying gain one last friend to share their final moments with. Overtime the two boys bond together and create a beautiful friendship which blossoms into a deep love and admiration, the only problem is, is that they will both die in the end.  To find out how you definitely must read this book, I read it within 1 day because of how good it was! I couldn't put it down. This book is great for anyone who wants a thought provoking and sad book to read.

We follow Eddie Jaku as he recounts his story of living through and surviving the Holocaust, he finds hope in the most despairing of situations, he finds happiness all around him even if things look as though they will never get better! this inspiring story fills you with hope after reading and makes you think about how to live your life just as happy as he did.

His motivation for making these creatures and the reason as to why he captured Tessa is still unknown. Tessa's love for will increases, yet it still longs for another boys heart: Jem or James Carstairs is suffering from an illness which is slowly eating away at his life. More secrets are unlocked as Tessa discovers more about her past, her family and what shadowhunters really are.

This book certainly lives up to the name of the first in the infernal devices series. The main characters are a geek (Bronwyn), a jock (Cooper), a criminal (Nate) and a princess (Addy). The main goal of the book is to figure out who killed Simon Kelleer during detention. Simon was the creator of the gossip filled app: About That and each of the characters have a secret that could ruin their lives if they were told, About That could be their downfall. They have to find who is truly lying within this suspenseful novel. This story was a wonderful quick read, it's great for people who want to read a simple and suspenseful murder mystery with a few twists here and there.

Cadence is an emotionally broken girl who has told to be perfect by her parents ever since she was a child. What does this family want to keep a secret from Cadence and how is she going to recover her memory from her mysterious incident that happened in summer 15. Her friends "The Liars" are tagging along the way to help her find out. This book had amazing unique writing that kept me reading each page no matter the situation of the plot, nothing went unnoticed in this book and it definitely had me thinking.

It may be Korean but it is really interesting and inviting as a story with lots of comedy, action, and character development across its 551 chapters.
