         <title>Tutorials &amp; Practice Tests </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Complete the tutorials and practice tests with your homerooms by April 21st</strong>. You can use the link above, but students need to access these by using the app on their chromebooks. &nbsp;<br><br>This is also a good time to check devices.&nbsp; If students receive an error message that says their device doesn't meet requirements, they will need to do an update and try again.<br><br>Encourage students to explore the tools and ask questions.&nbsp; Remind them that they will not be able to ask for help with these during the test.  During the practice tests, students should practice using every tool available.  The scientific desmos calculator will be provided where it can be used.  <br><br>Once you have completed the tutorial and practice test, I need your signature with the date these were completed.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>All chrome books should be left at school on Friday, May 12th.&nbsp; Please make sure they are plugged in so they are charged and ready for testing on Monday. &nbsp;<br><br>Each wing needs to see Mr. Moxley about obtaining 2-3 extra chrome books to keep in the work rooms in case of an emergency.  There will not be time to retrieve extra chrome books or fix an issues that may arise.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>All students will listen to instructions in homeroom before leaving the classroom.&nbsp; Special Ed Teachers - please make sure your students have headphones and calculators on the days needed.<br><br>Proctors will pick up their student(s) from homerooms. They will have all testing materials needed for the day (except headphones and calculators). <br><br>Quick summary of accommodations that were covered previously:<br><strong>~Reader</strong><br>&nbsp; &nbsp;<strong>~Online </strong>(will use headphones)<br>&nbsp;  <strong>~Human</strong> - Read only what is on the page, no paraphrasing, be mindful of tone and inflection. They can ask for a re-read, but it still must be read exactly as written.<br><strong>~Scribe</strong> - Only type exactly what is said, do not add punctuation or capitalization, do not edit unless asked to do so.&nbsp; If student also has a reader, they can request that you read the response back to them. If they do not have a reader, they can request to read the response themselves. <br><strong>~Calculator</strong> - Handheld must be written into the IEP for a student to use one. They can use on it non-calculator portion as well.<br><strong>~Extended time</strong> - all students may have extended time if they are working diligently. If students are not using the original time given, they may not receive additional time.&nbsp; Document if you deny extended time.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <title>Seal Codes and Test Tickets</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>You will receive seal codes and test tickets on the morning of the test.&nbsp; Please treat these as secure materials.&nbsp; They should never be left unattended. &nbsp;<br><br>Before the test, write the seal code on the board for all to see.&nbsp; If there is a Part A and B, only put one seal code on the board at a time.&nbsp; Collect Part A test tickets before giving the seal code and test tickets for Part B. &nbsp;<br><br>Each student will receive a test ticket for the test they are taking that day.&nbsp; Ask students to verify that their name is on the ticket they recieve. The tickets can be used as scratch paper, but they can also receive additional paper if needed.&nbsp; At the end of the test, collect all test tickets and any other paper students have written on. &nbsp;<br><br>There are recommended times for the tests, but students can continue past time if they are actively working on the test.&nbsp; The tests are longer, there have been several more forms added, and some now have two parts.&nbsp; There will be no reference sheets or additional materials provided.&nbsp; All tools and extras that are allowed are embedded in the test (unless a student has handheld calculator written into their IEP).&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Students:<br>~They may not have phones, smart watches, ear buds, etc.&nbsp; Encourage them to leave them at home for testing or to put them in their lockers.<br>~They should use the restroom before testing begins and during scheduled breaks.&nbsp; If they must go during testing, they can only leave one at a time. If you're not able to stand in your doorway to keep eyes on the student and your class, I will come and escort the student.&nbsp;<br><br>Teachers:<br>~Encourage students to be present for testing. They will have to make up any missed portions.  They cannot come join a class that has already started testing. They will remain in the office until a make up session can be offered. They will have to be separated from their peers until they have made up the missed test(s).</div>]]></description>
