I live on the Adriatic coast and we alwys have far more rainy days then in continental parts of Croatia because climate is much different. After lot of years even snow fall today. Amaizing!

In coastal area is alwys warmer climate and winters are warmer then in other regions of my country. I like it because I dont neeed to wear a big jackets and I never wear gloves. But storms are more frequent then in other parts of Croatia.

Girona is a city located thirty km from the sea, so the effect of the sea is light. The sea makes the climate warmer. When we go to Barcelona it is always hotter than Girona, because Barcelona is next to the sea.

Girona there is a 30 km than sea, so the effect of the sea is not so strong. Instead of Barcelona it is always hotter than Girona, because Barcelona is next to the sea.

Coimbra is located 53km from the sea, so I can say that it doesn’t affect our climate. In the summer we have tropical days and a lot of sun, but in the winter we have rain all season. Coimbra is situated on a valley so we have a mix of temperature, which can be unpleasant. However, over the last years, the weather has been changing and we have had some extreme weather conditions, for example Lesley, a hurricane that caused lots of damage in the center of the country, Coimbra included.
