Education in Vancouver is compulsory up to the age of 16 and has public and private institutions, although most parents choose public schools because of their excellent academic level. I study business at the University of British Columbia. Located in downtown Vancouver, University of British Columbia is one of the largest and best listed institutions of higher education in Canada and in the world. Life in Vancouver is spectacular, very quiet life; I have many friends and always have a great time as a family. In Vancouver you can enjoy the carnival of the sun the largest Latin festival in the Pacific Northwest and is held at the end of the week in Latin America, more than 250 artists, musicians, visual artists and dancers will enjoy the folkloric dances of our Latin American region.

 

I am very happy for my trip to Vancouver, I carry two suitcases, in one packing all my shirts, ten pants, 5 jackets and 6 pairs of shoes, in the other I pack my books, photos of my family and the most appreciated for me that is my computer, with my computer I can call my mom on Skype and talk to her every day. I am eager to start classes at the University of Vancouver since the classes there are very good, and the classmates are very friendly, I became friends with a girl named Daniela, she is from Argentina, she also speaks Spanish. We went out with Daniela to Stanley Park, this is very beautiful, the trees are big and green and it is a very cheap plan, we also did a cruise through the port of Vancouver although this plan is expensive.
