Many principles helped from the rules and regulations, beliefs, and systems in the US Government, it paved the way for the United States.Some principles we adopted from Hammurabi’s Code is an unbiased justice system, and the innocent until proven guilty concept. From the Rule of Law, a principle we adopted is no matter the status everyone must obey the law. The Magna Carta prohibited illegal searches or seizures, and taxation without representation it provided a limited government. Some concepts adopted from Thomas Hobbes are we do believe people have the right to change the government if its abusing our rights. The Mayflower Compact provided the concept of self-government. We adopted theories from John Locke. The Baron of Montesquieu provided the separation of powers and the branches of government, some concepts adopted from the English Bill of Rights are freedom from the cruel and unusual punishment, the right to bear arms, and the freedom of speech.The Rule of Law relates to modern day because the law still appeals. In today’s news Trump is possibly being impeached for trying to dig up dirt on Joe Biden and his son.
