Summer 2020 was pretty much a complete lockdown for NYC and there were tons of unknowns regarding COVID-19. Do we think people will be home less or have spontaneous plans this summer which will cause them to miss summer programming? Do we think people will attend? There are significant differences between this summer and last summer that can potentially affect attendance (especially if attendance last year was a concern, as Katie mentioned). I understand that partnering with CBOs is an attempt to alleviate this concern, but I still not fully confident in potential attendance, and attendance and participation would make summer programming more meaningful and worthwhile for students and teachers]]> 2021-03-18 21:24:06 UTC https://padlet.com/darien_dinaro1/v7tkea0pulnuxp8/wish/1327678138 Central Location of Class Links? https://padlet.com/darien_dinaro1/v7tkea0pulnuxp8/wish/1327705164 There were complaints in the feedback (and mention from Katie) about the somewhat chaotic distribution of links for each of the classes.....how can we best streamline/centralize the class links?

 Considering the following:
  • Links being shared
  • Teacher-specific links/teacher communications with families
  • Central Google Doc/Classrom/Sheets/Intranet etc.?
  • Zoom Account (COVE) (also, out of curiosity, why do we use Zoom instead of GoogleMeet?) 

> I can vouch for teacher-specific links! When I taught, I created a short-link and made it the description for my Classroom. That way, students needed only to access the Classroom to get to, well, the class.

    Of course, not all tutors will be local for the summer.
