Within the community of timor many children were suffering from malnutrition symptoms. 

Juandro is one of many who suffered terrible symptoms such as difficulty breathing. 

Oxfam, has provided:
  •  Supplementary feeding classses in his village where his mother learns how to cook nutritious foods;
  • provided access to processed fresh food so it lasts longer;
  • Access to ingredients that are high in protein

This program aims to educate the community through cooking demonstrations and showing these individuals how to add vegetable, meat and eggs to rice dishes so children get more essential nutrients in their diets.

    The children used to run on the forest and drink dirty water from a nearby stream. 

    With the installation of the new toilet block the healthy life of all has improved.It has made attending school heaps easier especially for the girls who are older and experiencing changes.
