If Romeo didn't love Rosaline then he never would've gotten to the party. He went there to get Rosaline but found Juliet instead. Originally, the Capulets hosted the party, because they wanted Juliet to meet up with Paris. Instead, her young self found a family enemy member. He shouldn't have come to find the woman to complete his pleasure. If he didn't come, love wouldn't have started in the first place. When Juliet caught his eyes, Juliet to Romeo was like gold to a fox. The only way for Romeo to be attracted to such a woman was for Romeo to be looking for love. He was blind by love to get Juliet and led Juliet to take the sleep potion. She would've fallen in love with Paris if only she met Paris first and bonded with him. Romeo didn't bother to ask what happened to Juliet before dying. His first mistake was when he killed Mercutio and Tybalt. He should've not killed Mercutio. He could've just injured him in the knee. One thing that doesn't accur to Romeo is common sense. He chose to kill him and not stop him. He made bigger issues by the hand when he chose to do that. The only to solve that was to banish Romeo. Although Romeo was banished from his home country, he went to meet Juliet. He has lack of self control and chose not to do what was best for himself and others. The only thing that Romeo and Juliet meeting that was given was death to them both. They could've chosen what was better for them and ended up finding both Montegue and Capulet enjoying each other's company at hand. He made another mistake by killing Paris and himself. If he waited for Friar than he would've found the evidence that Juliet isn't actually dead. He married Juliet without knowing more about Juliet and what the situation was. Romeo proposed without knowing Juliet's lifestyle or even her birthday. The moment he turned 21, he hadn't matured in a man. Romeo was a fool as a man could be. The moment he found Juliet he probably thought of "love by sight", but the only thing that was brought to the end was death. They were able to bring love to each other, but it's worth having love for eternity that brings you to peace in the time of the storm. Romeo is at fault. The minute Romeo has caught his eyes on Juliet, he never thought for a minute of what to do next with all the common sense that could've been made. The biggest mistake he made was when he killed himself for the "sake" of Juliet.
