Intellectual minds of scholars who were living in the House of Wisdom had led to multiple improvements and discoveries in math such as algebra, engineering, and philosophy.

The merchants in the late Tang times (c.900 CE) started to trade receipts from deposit shops where they had left the money of goods, and in the 1020’s it officially became the first government-issued paper money. On a side note, Marco Polo supported this idea and he later described the use of the paper currency throughout Kublai Khan’s Yuan dynasty .

The more people who were getting sick in the Middle East: Led to the creation of modern hospitals, medical textbooks, and medicine. Even in Europe, the creation of the thermometer by Gabriel Fahrenheit (1714) and the smallpox vaccine in the late 1700’s was a result of trying to fix a societal issue (Information from: Comparative timelines).

With more surrounding nations invading China, war was more likely to happen, and because of this "Chinese General Zhao Kuangyin made the military stronger and China became a dominant military power" (“Song Dynasty”). With the General's support to make the military stronger, this led to inventions such as gunpowder, stronger steel arrow tips, and throwing bombs.

Throughout this period of time, there was a great increase in astronomical studies in Europe. However, one of the astronomers’ theories became very controversial which was Nicolas Copernicus' Heliocentric cosmos model that put the sun in the center of our solar system. Decades after it was published, multiple astronomers and mathematicians like Gaileo and Kelper had tested his theory and it turned out it was true (Information from: Comparative Timelines and “Crash Course”)

Newton's Three Laws of Motion led to a new way of explaining the world in purely scientific terms instead of religious briefings. This has continued to improve scientific inquiry for the past couple decades, overall improving mankind's well being (Information from: “Newton”).

This has been a sustained revolution in thought throughout centuries because the use of warfare items especially items like gunpowder are still used today to create things such as bombs and fireworks.

The creation of paper money was definitely a sustained revolution of thought because paper money has become almost every single country's main form of currency and is still used till this day with other inventions like the credit card.
