I was surprised to find out that I'm actually more productive when my kids are with me than when they're at their dad's apartment. I thought I'd benefit from the extra time, but instead I'm really focused when they're with me. During their school hours, I know I've got to get my work done so I can be super present for them when they get home.

In getting to know myself, I can confidently say that my experiences and age have taught me a lot. I know who I am, yet I remain open to growth and change, believing that life is a continuous learning process. One area I’m still working on is finding balance. Between working full-time, attending school full-time, caregiving, and maintaining family time, it often feels like there’s little room for myself. I want to create more space for “me time” to help me manage daily responsibilities more effectively, reduce stress, and continue growing as a student and scholar.

So overall, I've learned that I need my quiet, coffee, and structure to finish my schoolwork. I've also discovered that knowing my best study times helps me plan better and succeed as a student. On weekdays, I often am too tired after work, and the busy noisy environment makes it harder to concentrate. To manage weekdays, I found that waking up early on the weekends and the house is nice and quiet with no distractions is the best way to finish work and keep the house in order.

I want to see how my environment affects my focus. When my room's clean and music's on, I work better, but mess or stress throws me off. I plan to track how time, organization, and mood impact my productivity so I can build a routine that keeps me consistent.

Through this reflection, I realized how much I’ve learned to give myself grace. I’m learning to move at my own pace, embrace challenges as lessons, and let go of what I can’t control. Celebrating progress instead of perfection feels like true freedom. Each day is an opportunity to grow, to discover new strengths I didn’t know I had, and to honor the journey I’m on even when it’s messy, uncertain, or slow. I’m learning that life isn’t about rushing to the finish line; it’s about showing up, breathing, and trusting myself along the way.

I want to know if i can actually balance being a full-time parent, working full time and being a full time student. Ive tried more then once, hence why I've been a student for so long. I wonder if working from home will allow me to get more work done or does it not make a difference if I spend 8 hours in the office then come home to submit work while im helping a junior high student with her work, allowing her to unpack her day and make her dinner. I want to know if submitting my work alot earlier than the actual due date makes a difference in my grades, or if waiting till closer to the due date going to force me to give it my best.
