4. Schedule time by December 20^th to present your data/utilize an existing meeting to present that data

5. Use the Facilitation Guide to help you present your results to your branch

6. Reference the People Leader Hub for ongoing support throughout the year

• All people leaders now have access to our merit planning system, HRSoft. 

  • hrsoft.cscsw.com

• The annual merit budget is 3% with additional budget having been provided to focus on raises for Lead Field Service Technicians who are below a campra ratio of 1.0. 

  • This will help us bring the leads closer to the midpoint of their range. 

• All merit planning must be completed in HRSoft. 

  • Need a refresher on how to navigate the system? Check is out on the People Leader Hub linked HERE

• Merit Planning will go from 03/31 - 04/11. No changes will be able to be submitted after 04/11.

• HRBPs and Branch Managers will review merit files to discuss merit decisions and answer any questions - I have already scheduled these conversations for next week.

April 21-25 Training: Retrospective Feedback How to communicate Performance ratings and corresponding Merit to your team members. You may be met with varying reactions, we will discuss the best ways to provide the information and how to handle different responses. .

1. APRIL 29 – May 8  Schedule and conduct each team member’s retrospective. In this meeting, you will go over their specific wins, progress, areas of continued improvement,  and deliver their merit amount.  

2. (Optional) Visit the People Leader Hub to review the first two trainings and get tips on to support your evaluations

When?

I have scheduled a call with all of you on April 28 to officially kick off the ServU rollout at your branches. It is essential all Service Managers are present.

What is ServU?

ServU is a training program designed to help Field Service Technicians succeed during their first six months at CSC. When the new Team Member is hired, they are paired with a ServU-certified Trainer from your branch and follow a day-by-day plan to make sure that they are both engaged and properly trained to be independent once they are on their own in the field.

Who is ServU for?

ServU is currently designed for Laundry Field Service Technicians. Our program also includes training and support resources for the managers and identified trainers.

What does a rollout look like at a branch?

We will guide your branches through the entire ServU rollout over a 7-week period. Most manager involvement will take place during the 3 Week Branch Pre-Work phase where:

• Service Managers will need to review ~2 hours of ServU Courses

• We will send you the required lab equipment. You will set up your lab using the ServU Laundry Lab Checklist

Information on both of these items can be found in the attached Branch Start Guide.

After that is completed, we will train your managers and identified Trainers on how to use the ServU program. 

This month we will be covering Mirror Safety utilizing Mirror Check Stations at our branches.  Delivering this training will require a bit of prep work.  Slides 10 and 11 of the attached deck show what materials you will need to paint out your station and how it must be laid out.

With one third of our preventable vehicle accidents involving backing into fixed objects behind us or striking objects besides us it is critical that we ensure we are using every tool possible to stay safe.  And let’s be clear, the mirrors mounted on our vehicles are pieces of safety equipment and using them incorrectly does not keep us safe.    

Mirror Safety will be part of an ongoing conversation we will be having about Safety during the month of May.

Maytag has created accounts for service techs, installers, rebuilders, and direct managers so they can easily access their service manuals and parts lookup tools.

The username is the first part of their company email without the @cscsw.com (example: jsmith) and their password is Password123 (must be a capital "P").
