We can no longer go to the movies or watch hockey on TV. No more hanging out with friends or going to concerts. All schools are closed, and we need to do social distancing, and right now, it's hard to see if anything will be normal again. But, when things do get back to normal, it will be very tough. Restaurants (they can still do take out), clothing stores, small businesses, etc. were ordered to shut down. They will lose thousands of dollars from not having business, and they may have to shut down their business for good, but, if they're lucky enough to stay in business, when people can finally shop, they will need money for supplies, and they won't have that money, so they'll need to take out loans. If thousands of businesses are taking out loans at the same time, think of the bank industry. It will collapse! Also, they will still have to pay their workers. The economy is going to be terrible. As I said, schools had to shut down, and students now are doing remote learning. Some students though do not have reliable internet access so they cannot complete their work. It will also be very hard for teachers to teach new topics without actually being with their students, so kids will fall behind, and when they won't be ready for the next grade. High schoolers won't be ready for the SAT's, and they might not be able to get into a good college. When students do get back to school, they'll all be slightly scarred from being at home for so long, and they won't be ready to learn. For me, I'm not really good at learning things quickly in the first place, and add not being near your teacher, it's going to be very hard for me, as well as lots of other students. Some people see the coronavirus as a "vacation", but after this is over, life will not go back to normal. I think people will clean surfaces more often and be cleaner meaning they wash their hands more or use hand sanitizer. As for people and public place, I think that sanitation will be much bigger. More janitors and such things like that. Business rules and policies will include better sanitation for workers, like gloves and times to wash hands. School and learning...I don't know. Will we go back to school? Will we have MCAS? These questions and more people don't know the answer to. As I said previously, health safety will most likely dramatically increase so that an outbreak like this does not ever happen again. (but it probably will) I think that these things will happen because of an expierience my grandmother had. After the Great Depression, which she was not born or just a baby for, her family realized that they had taken advantage of so many things. She has learned that things should be saved and reused. For example, she saves wrapping paper. (For what? Nobody knows.) She does this because during the Great Depression, her family couldn't buy wrapping paper. I think the school will have more cleaning supplies like hand sanitizers. The schools and businesses might be more strict on hygiene and be more sanitary.
