^{Hey There!} This is Jay Sayson Ruelo. People in our community often called me by my proxy name _Bao.🐢I am 31 years of age. A student at CTU-Tuburan Campus🏢and also a current sitting Barangay Councilor in our barangay of Villahermosa. So, yeah! I think that’s the brief background of myself.🫶

I was born and raised👩‍🍼in one of the upland barangay of the Municipality of Tabuelan⛰️, the youngest Municipality in the Province of Cebu, Philippines🇵🇭to an average-income family👩‍❤️‍👨. My father being a farmer🧑‍🌾, and at the same time a construction worker👷‍♂️ was the bread winner of the family, and provides almost all our needs, and my mother being a housewife left to take a good care of us.🤷‍♀️ They were trying to make both ends meet. I am the youngest among my siblings. I have two older👬 brothers, and a sister.🧍‍♀️ I remember that when I was young, I am so stubborn, but, things slowly folded up, as I aged. I am now a mature, grown man. My attitude now is totally different compared to what I had in my childhood.🤵‍♂️

I’m in my second year as a college student, currently taking up Bachelor of Industrial Technology major in Welding and Fabrication at CTU-Tuburan Campus. _{Still a long journey to uphold, yet I’m halfway to the finished line.🙏}

I do have a lot of hobbies in my life; playing basketball⛹️‍♂️and billiard🦯, reading informative books📚, watching TV📺, surfing online, listening to music and dramas🎶, etc.

I am interested in traveling🛤️ to remote places🚩 and meet different races of people🏜️, and exploring their cultures, lifestyles🧌, and experience their ways of living in this survival world🌍

If we talk about accomplishments, I do have something to be proud of to share with you.✨Let me begin, at the age of 22, I went to work in Saudi Arabia in one of the biggest company in the world, the Saudi Aramco as an administrative clerk despite being just a High School graduate, and for almost 7 straight years without going for a vacation in Philippines. You know what makes me proud of? It’s because not all of us can do of what I’ve done and what I’ve been through in life. And when I go back home in 2022 at the age of 29, that was two years ago, and in 2023, my enrollment in CTU-Tuburan was accepted, that same year there was an election, I ran for a Barangay Councilor position without any background on politics, and Thanks God, I won. See how blessed, I am. All these achievement in my life were credit from God,🙏 because without him, we are nothing.

We already talked about achievements in life, now let’s jump up to another topic the challenges in life. Again, if we talk about challenges in life, all of us experienced this. As we continue to live here in earth, challenges and problems also are inevitable, to strengthen us. My kind of challenges in life is a different one. Allow me to begin, after I graduated High School in 2010, I wasn’t able to proceed in college due to financial problem, from late 2010 to mid 2015, I was a bystander. Late 2015, I applied and processed my documents going to Saudi Arabia. March of 2016, I flew to Saudi Arabia hoping for a better life. But, just when I started working, things also got worst. My typing speed was so slow and the company don’t want to accept me. Before I lost my hope, they said that, they will accept me but not an encoder but as a document filer. I agreed because I am so desperate to have a job, and I don’t want to go back to Philippines with nothing. Everyday from 6-11 in the morning, I scanned and files all the papers separately, from 1-3, I updated and saved the scanned file. For 7 months those are my everyday routine and, if I’m not busy I practiced to type in keyboard. After sometime, my co-workers went to vacation and exit so I have to take the responsibility that time also I knew almost all the clerk job, therefore, they assigned me to work as an encoder and after few months became the head clerk, and so far in my watch regarding the work, we managed to minimize the discrepancies until my last day of work.

Every trials, problems or challenges transform us into a better person because once we overcome those trials or challenges, it makes us more stronger, resilient, and independent person.

Just like other people, I also want a simple yet mesmerizing success in life, yes you read it right, I want to become a successful person someday. First of all, If God is willing, I want to finish my study, to find a stable job and have a stable life, save money to start a small business, settle down with the one I love, and together make a happy, contented, and God-loving family.

1. I may be quiet but, I’m observing you. So better watch out!

2. I may look strict, but once you knew me very well, you will tell to yourself how stubborn I am😅

3. I tend to hide my feelings in order for others to see me strong.

4. I may look worry-free because I smiles most of the time but, I have a thousand of problems, regrets, etc that is hidden im my back.

5. Others look at me as a successful one due to my work experience and my position now in terms of my age, but for me I am a loser and a failure compared to my classmates.

6. How I wish that everyday, I do have a lot of money to help the poor and the needy.

7. I’m a jealous type of guy😮‍💨😅

8. I always wonder, what is my true purpose here on earth?

9. I can be the laziest person at a time, and can be the active one the other time.

10. I value life more than anything else in this worlds.

The people who influences and inspire me, first of all is God due to his unwavering love to us humanity, second are my family, love ones, relatives, neighbors and friends due to their presence in my life, the third one, are people who were successful in their chosen career, they are my biggest motivators in life, not just because I wanna be like them but to be more than them to influence and inspire others too.
