         <description><![CDATA[<p>1.Cut Nyak Dien</p><p>Cut Nyak Dien is a hero who was born in Aceh Besar in 1848. During the Aceh War, he stood leading the troops to fight the Dutch.</p><p>Cut Nyak Dien was not afraid to fight against the Dutch because she also wanted to avenge the death of her husband who died as a result of the war. Cut Nyak Dien's struggle also brought her to the figure of Teuku Umar who eventually became her second husband.</p><p>Unfortunately he was arrested, exiled, then died in Sumedang on November 6 1908. Cut Nyak Dien was also buried there.</p><p>2.Tuanku Imam Bonjol</p><p>Peto Syarif, known as Tuanku Imam Bonjol, was a figure who was born in Tanjung Bunga Village, West Sumatra in 1772. There, he was a cleric and community leader.</p><p>As a result of the conflict between the Indigenous people and the Padri (religious people), Imam Bonjol finally fought against the Dutch. He fought alongside the Padri from 1803 to 1838.</p><p>Because of Dutch betrayal, Imam Bonjol was arrested and exiled to Cianjur, then Ambon, and finally to Manado. Imam Bonjol finally died on November 6, 1864 when he was 92 years old.</p><p>3.General Sudirman</p><p>General Soedirman was born in Bodas Karangjati on January 24 1916. He was a great commander as well as the first and youngest general in Indonesia. When he was 31 years old, General Sudirman joined other independence heroes in fighting the Japanese, Dutch and Allied invaders.</p><p>General Soedirman fought extraordinarily, even when he was sick he did not give up and fought the enemy with his men. He died of illness on January 29 1950 in Magelang, then was buried in the Semaki Heroes' Cemetery, DI Yogyakarta.</p><p>4.Prince Diponegoro</p><p>Prince Diponegoro has the nickname Raden Mas Ontowiryo. He was born in D.I. Yogyakarta on November 11, 1785.</p><p>Prince Diponegoro was the eldest son of Sultan Hamengkubuwono III, known since his leadership during the Diponegoro War in 1825-1830.</p><p>Apart from being awarded as a national hero, Prince Diponegoro also received several honors such as the founding of the Prince Diponegoro Monument Museum and his name being used as the name of a street, stadium and university.</p><p>5.Sultan Hasanuddin</p><p>Sultan Hasanuddin is nicknamed the Rooster of the East. He is a National Hero from South Sulawesi who is the second son of Sultan Malikusaid. Sultan Hasanuddin was born in 1631 in Makassar.</p><p>This resulted in the Dutch asking for army assistance from Batavia to break through Gowa's strongest fortress, namely Somba Opu, on 12 June 1669. Soekarno was known as a skilled orator. Keka's speech was able to shake the hearts of his listeners. Apart from having a patriotic spirit, Soekarno was also an intelligent politician. MOHAMMAD HATTA</p><p>This national figure, who is often called Bung Hatta, is known as a proclaimer, activist since he was young, organizer and statesman. Hatta often accompanied President Soekarno, including in drafting the proclamation of Indonesian independence. While serving as vice president, Hatta actively wrote and shared knowledge about cooperatives. This role made him nicknamed the Father of Cooperatives.</p><p><br/></p><p>3. BUNG TOMO</p><p>Bung Tomo is a journalist and fighter figure from Surabaya. Leader of the Surabaya people's resistance against the Dutch at the Yamato hotel. He loudly shouted "Freedom or death" and was tasked with igniting the fighting spirit of the people of Surabaya. A big battle took place in Surabaya. This event is now remembered as Heroes' Day.</p><p><br/></p><p>4. IMAM BONJOL</p><p>In charge of leading the Padri war. Imam Bonjol's heroic resistance in the Padri War which took place in 1803 against the Dutch colonialists made him a national hero. The resistance led by the Padri succeeded in reclaiming areas previously controlled by the Dutch. The enormity of this battle is immortalized in the form of a museum and the Teuku Imam Bonjol Monument located in Minangkabau, West Sumatra. Led the war against the Dutch in the war known as the Padri War in 1803-1838.</p><p><br/></p><p>5. PATTIMURA</p><p>Pattimura served as a warlord in the struggle against the Dutch VOC in Maluku.
