At the beginning it was alright because it had to explain Will's background and how he became a ranger. Toward the end it got better and had more action but I believe it could have been better. Everyone in his family is chosen to be in Gryfindore house but he goes to slitheren so he starts out as an odd ball in his family. In the book Harry is trying to get along with his son but they dont get along real well. Ablus and his best and only friend Scorpius traveled through time trying to save an innocent person who died protecting Harry but in the end they made they changed the world into an evil place ruled by Lord Voldemort. This book was written like a play which i thought was interesting. It starts out with him living his normal life but it soon turns into his monster fighting life. He looses his friend Charlie at the beggining and figures out there is a spy at his camp. As the book progressses him and his friends (other demigods) Set up camp at the empire state building also Olympus. They have to defend Olympus from the evil titan Kronos Lord of Time. Percy ends the battle and as soon as he thinks he gets to rest the next Great Prophecy begins. This book was very interesting to me. You would like this series if you like mythical creatures such as dragons. This book starts out with one of the main characters Kendra living her normal life when she is kidnapped by an organisation called the society of the evening star. The society and the Knights of the Dawn are in a race collecting 5 artifacts which are also the keys to the demon prison. The leader of the society the sphinx believes he should be the one who opens the prison. But a demon named Graulus overthrows him and opens the prison on his terms. When he came up he was in a walled area with a bunch of guys. The place was called the glade. The glade was in the middle of a maze. They are trying to find a way out of the maze but they can not find a way. The next day a girl comes up the box named Teresa. The girl and Thomas have the feeling that they know eachother. In the end of the book everything starts going wrong and they risk all or nothing to get out of the maze but they didn't know... After making it out of the maze a bunch of crazy and weird things start happening. They had thought there hard life of being lab rats was over but it was just beginning. They had a time period of two weeks to get to a certain safehaven. To make sure that the group would head to the safe haven instead of just staying they injected them with a deadly virus known as the flare. When they go out to search for the safehaven they find that they world as they know it was gone. Every living thing was dead everyone was crazy because of the cure and the sun flares raised temperatures to over 110 degrees. Thomas and the rest of the group make there way to the safehaven facing difficult trials called the variables. WICKED had kept thomas separated from the rest of the gladers for over 3 weeks before coming to get him. WICKED offered to give everybody's memories back but Thomas, Minho, and Newt (who turned out not to be immune)  didn't wont there memories back so WICKED kept them locked up. Those three plus Brenda and Jorge escaped in a group and everyone else escaped separately. They escaped to Denver where they learned WICKED was collecting more immunes to start the trials again. The groups met back up and teamed up with the Right Arm to take down WICKED. They have run away from there home land Skandia  to go and bring back the stolen andomel that they lost.  While out at sea the old Sea Wolf Thorn teaches them more about fighting with their weapons and such. They find out Zavak the pirate that stole the andomel had taken of the town of Limmat.  Hal  and then other Herons meet up with some of the townspeople that escaped and some friends to take down the pirates and get the andomel back.  There attack was a success except that Zavak and some of his ship's crew escaped.
