To be eligible in the senate you have to be 25 
You have to be at least 21 years old to live in district for a year before election
-General Assembly Leadership
Speaker presides over the house and makes key appointments
Lieutinant governor is the president of the senate, but his official votes breaks the tie.
President pro tempore presides over house.

Short sessions in even number years. 6 week sessions.
Long sessions in odd number years. 6 month sessions. 
Special sessions- Governor, speaker of house, president of senate. Governor usually calls sessions.
