Generally, they don't even have the power to protect themselves. It is really wrong from a humanitarian point of view not to help them even though we have the ability to protect them.
 Also, there are solution for increasing crime rate. Those who are opposed for receiving refugees would argue that most of them are extremist, and also they would cause crime, such as terror, violent crime or sexual crime.  Second, we can help other people's achieving dreams. Some of you might think "it is hard for us to achieve our own dreams, how can we help others?" However, this point emphasizes that helping others to achieve dreams means GIVING CHANCES TO THEM TO DREAM AT LEAST. For example, John Bul Dau could find his dream thanks to programs to resettle refugees, and he is now giving hope to many people all over the world. Like this, accepting refugees can even bring positive affection to people, and this can be a reason why we should receive more refugees.
