Since our first year of college, you've always been so patient with our slow brains for psych stat, and because of you I excelled a lot in that subject! Though I haven't had you as a teacher on my second and third year, you've always been so supportive of SAMASIKOFIL, and as the President, it means so much to me. Happy Teachers Day! So far, you have been the most "matiyaga" teacher I've ever encountered my whole student life. Although your standards and expectations are high to the point where they could pass on as the cause of death of your students, they're actually reasonably high considering how WELL you teach. Additionally, I admire how much patience you have for your students and how you see through our potentials. As a well-known psych department fact, every student who goes through you as a prof makes us think twice if we chose the right course; but your never-ending support and push and your "PsychParin!" This teacher is always smiling. In every once a week session that we had, it's always worth it. He will never let us leave a Google meeting without learning something. He would never let a student be left behind in any discussion he had. This teacher never fails to amaze us. He talks a lot, yes, but every single word that he utters will always make a difference. He's a young but very broad-minded person. There are no dull moments with him. It is my only class that I learn and have fun at the same time.

This teacher is none other than our very own Sir Igue the Great. Thank you, Sir. You really made your subject stand out in complexity. You made me fall in love with psychology.
I may not see you in person yet, but I know when we meet in God's will, you will be a wonderful and kind-hearted person.

The first few hours of my Psychology journey started with you, entering our classroom with a clean black polo, and a briefcase-esque laptop bag. The atmosphere you set and the vibe you exude gave me the best feeling of fear, excitement and challenge for my whole Psych journey. Some students might be scared of you (and I am too), but it's the type of fear that lets you know that this Professor will make me fall in love with Psychology, this professor will take me to new heights in performing my very best, in both life and academics.
On my second-year student journey,you didnt make me feel like i would struggle bc of the online setting, and because of you I could possibly teach other people expe psych and cognitive psych, which became two of my favorite subjects in the second year curriculum
Now on my third year, you've still given me the chance to excel in a different aspect, in the organization, SAMASIKOFIL. You were my first choice to become SAMASIKOFIL's moderator and even until now, I have no regrets and the whole exeboard is so thankful you accepted the task to be our moderator. You've helped me lead the organization well and helped us excel and have created so many opportunities for us despite your work and life schedule. You've become such a huge part of my psychology journey, and you're one of the biggest reasons why I stayed in this course. Happy Teacher's Day to these outstanding professors that I am under at for the past 3 academic years in college. All of your insights, learnings, advices, and such were a good way to imply in life. May it be academically and reality. We may be the most maingay (F2F days) and magulo (F2F and online class) section ever, but we still appreciate you all and Manresa would not be Manresa without those M's. Thank you for the extensive understanding and everything in between to still teach us and be our foundation in being a Psychology major. May you all stay healthy and safe. You scared me. I am still scared kahit 3rd year na ako. Pero thankful ako na natakot ako saiyo, because that pushed me to know what "kumpyansa" means and that "kumpyansa" must not be dominant in all of my psychology classes. You set the bar too high, sir. Tuwing nahihirapan ako sa majors ko, iniisip ko nalang na "nalampasan ko gani si sir Gabo at ang 7/30 ko sa kanya, malalampasan ko din tong subject nato". That thought keeps me going. Thank you, Sir. hello, sir! i am one of your non participative and silent students in your lecture classes every friday :)) even though i'm too shy to participate, i always make sure and make time to attend ur classes since they're always so much fun <33 thank you for putting the extra work, especially sa mga entertaining and witty na lecture vids and doon sa collage of all of us :)) all of those show just how much you are passionate in inspiring and instilling knowledge to your students!! <33 i've never met a teacher who is THAT interactive with their students, and i wish i did get out of my comfort zone and interact with u and my classmates. also, i love how you treat us like your friends and how you see us as equal :)) and i sincerely appreciate how you don't give us a difficult time in dealing with this subject, it really made psychology very fun to learn, and it inspired me to further my studies in this course. i just wish that our time with you as our teacher was longer :(( but the four months you spent with us was SO SO SO worthwhile !!

Happy Teacher's Day! I give you my utmost sincerity and gratitude for the countless lessons I have learned from your classes. Because of the things that I have learned, I have grown to understand more of the people around me and of myself and how I could effectively be in service to them. In all honesty, if it weren't for the lessons I have learned during your classes I wouldn't have been equipped to deal with my family, friends, and loved ones who often come to me seeking for help and for someone to give them a listening ear. When I had first started with this course I wasn't quite sure why I chose it. But through the semesters of mentoring and through all the nights I have missed sleep to catch up with the readings, it was my professors, whom I could see are living examples of what Psychology is all about, that made it clear to me that Psychology goes beyond understanding human behavior and mental processes for it is in fact an epitome of selflessness. I look forward to the day where I can thank you again, but with me being part of the field and the work already. Wishing you goodness and health for you and your loved ones! God bless!

You put the fun in dysfunctional-- which is how most of us would describe our academic experience during the pandemic no cap HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHA-- and never in a million years would we have expected to learn in such a unique and profound way of teaching that kept all of us so entertained while exploring the surface of Psychology. Not only that!!! But you've also been a real homie and brother that lends a good listening ear when we need it. Thank you for the extra kamustahan hours, for all the efforts you have poured into your classes, from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU. We couldn't ask for a better and more understanding instructor to guide us on our first journey. Thank you for sharing your passion, imparting your knowledge to all of us in the best way you could, and for engaging with us your students to help us realize our potentials. We appreciate you, as our teacher, our friend, and our family.
