I too have been in a situation where someone has always been nice to me and questioned it. -Jilian Hidalgo

These guards would soon teach Shin that any person who'd break the camp rules should be shot, rules that Shin still remembers to this day

What Shin was really looking for was food,  Shin now sees himself before as being like an animal. "The only thing I thought was that I had to prey on others for survival" (190)
