   의례(儀禮)나 다례(茶禮)를 진행할 때 다과를 담았을 것으로 추정되고 있다. 
    이 네모난 받침대는 세부적으로는 정사각형의 모서리 부분을 살짝 파내고 갈라지게 만들어 꽃잎처럼 장식하였고, 상면은 중심부를 깊게 만들어 안쪽이 오목하다. 단이 진 윗부분과 측면에는 유약이 고여 더 푸른색을 띠며, 더욱더 아름다운 색을 낸다.
 이런 색을 가진 최고급 도자기를 ‘비색청자’(翡色靑磁)라고 부른다.
    청자투합은 고려초기와 후기에는 제작된 예가 확인되지 않아, 고려 중기에만 제작된 것으로 추정된다. 따라서 다양한 고려청자 중에서 청자투합은 제한적인 용도로 사용되었을 뿐만 아니라 제작시기가 매우 짧았던 것으로 보인다.

 1.이 산수 대련은 각기 면 좌우에 중심이 되는 큰 산봉우리를 배치하여 대칭을 이루는 구도를 취하고 있으며 화면 상단에 시가 적혀 있다.
 2.시의 내용을 그림으로 그렸다. 
 3.초당 주변만을 선택하여 세로로 긴 화면에 맞게 재조정 했고, 초당 주변의 자욱했던 안개가 개어가고 있는 순간의 느낌을 더 잘 살려냈다
 4.먹과 채색의 사용이 조화를 이루었는데, 담묵을 중첩한 필치에 청신한 담채가 어우러져 격조를 높였다.

 크기가 높이 105.4cm정도 됩니다. 와우 정말 크죠?

 시의 내용은 
 가을 산수’라는 제목에서 색채 화려한 그림을 기대했다면 아쉬울지도 모르겠지만.그치만 소치가 그리고자 한 것은 당장 눈앞에 보이는 풍경과는 사뭇 다른, 바깥 풍광이 내 속을 투과하고 지난 그 마음의 풍경이었습니다. “소동파 선생이 시에서 읊으셨다/ 그림을 논함에 있어 닮았는지 따지면/ 그 식견이 아이와 같고,/ 시 짓는데 반드시 이렇게 지어야 한다고 따지면/ 진정 시를 아는 사람이 아니라고.” 허련이 어느 산수화에 적었던 글귀였습니다.
 청신한 담채가 돋보이는 허련의 화풍의 특징을 잘 보여주고 있습니다.
